Called on Wednesday Nov 27, the day before Thanksgiving to see if same day service was available. After calling three previous companies that weren’t able to come out until Monday or Tuesday, Express didn’t disappoint. We had no power in half of the house due to what I learned was improper work the week prior by a general contractor that replaced three electrical outlets in one of the bedrooms while doing some other work for us. Thank God for Express Electrical Services and their amazing electrician Saul Jimenez!!! Saul called me twice to keep me updated on his ETA, when he arrived he put on booties (shoe covers) before entering our home. Saul figured out the problem within less than five minutes and had power restored within 30 minutes. He was top notch in every aspect, from start to finish. I will definitely hire Express Electrical again and request for Saul to be dispatched. Regarding price… I was honestly shocked at the cost. I was expecting a lot more than $520 for same day service. If you need an electrician, don’t waste your time calling around, call Express first and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Jay came today to fix a light switch that wasn’t working. The pleasures of home ownership. He inspected everything thoroughly and had to do a lot of troubleshooting to figure out what the issue was. He gave me three choices of service and explained them. I felt comfortable with him proceeding. The poor guy was here for 6 hours doing the most! It now works!! He’s a miracle worker. And…..he’s dog friendly. He didn’t complain at all about my curious bulldog

Saul, our electrician from Express was pretty incredible, and the company itself provided us with amazing service. I called Express because I just moved into a new place only to find that half the electrical outlets didn’t even work. I needed help right away and although they were booked up for the day, they managed to squeeze me in for same day service. Saul showed up on time, was professional and polite and even put up with my crazy Boxer. He provided us good, better, best options and went thru what was involved with each in just the right amount of detail. We chose the middle option and he got right to work. The most crucial parts of the job were resolved in just a cpl hours and the rest by done the next morning. If you’ve ever hired a contractor, you know how rare it is to expect this level of service. All in all, he went above & beyond what was required and left us feeling like we had a great experience. If all contractors conducted themselves in a similar manner, a lot more work would get done and there’d be more happy homeowners than angry ones who felt taken advantage of. I appreciate very much the work they did for us, and they’ll for sure be our go-to next time we need an electrician. HIGHLY recommended!

Very professional electrician. Saul found the problem which generated from LADWP. The city has a problem. We will also take his advice to update our panel as soon as LADWP takes care of their issue. LADWP dropped the ball on assessing the problem from their end when they “supposedly” came by yesterday. Saul was extremely competent on helping us in speaking to them. He is a great asset to Express.

Had a sudden onset of an electrical issue at the house. Called these folks. They picked up immediately and not too long after sent out a technician to take a look at the issue. Omar came out to assess the issue and give guidance. Overall, both the company and Omar delivered for me. They might not be the cheapest option in town, but at the same time they provide warranties, they have insurance, highly professional and reliable. We needed an electrician to install a 220 volt charger for an electric car. We called Express and made an appointment for the next day. Our electrician was Jay Sanchez. He arrived on time. I want to commend Omar García for his outstanding professionalism during a recent electrical inspection at my home. He arrived on time, was respectful and polite throughout the visit, and demonstrated a high level of attention to detail.

Omar carefully inspected multiple outlets and switches in search of a potential issue, and even went into the attic to evaluate the HVAC system from an electrical standpoint. He left no stone unturned and ultimately gave me peace of mind — confirming that everything was functioning properly. We later determined the rubber smell came from newly installed floor mats, not an electrical source.

He was also very considerate of the home: he wore protective fabric covers over his boots to keep the floors clean and took care to leave everything as he found it. I truly appreciate his thoroughness and professionalism.

My technician Omar Garcia was incredibly professional. He took time to explain the issue I was having with my intermittent internet on my electrical outlet because it wasn’t grounded. He explained several options to me to resolve the problem. He was kind & understanding of my financial situation & wasn’t trying to sell me something I didn’t need at this time. They got me up and running again quickly. I probably could have used a cheaper electrician, but I would have had to wait 10 days longer for the other appointment. Life is crap when it’s too hot to sleep. I’ve had an electrians get confused by my electricals and spend all day. Aaron was able to figure things out quickly. He’s a clear professional and spent a couple of minutes extra to fix another thing, which makes me feel much better about what I spent. I will definitely call them again!

Note when I say reasonable price I’m including the value of the expediency. If you are not in a rush, or this is for a big job, it’s always wise to shop around, and expect their estimate to be high.

We had a very scary experience at home when one of our outlets was damaged. It caused our power to go out, made a crackling noise, and even had a plastic burning smell we truly thought it could start a fire at any moment.
